Meet Ashley Emch

Owner, Cactus Club Subs

With a Bachelors in Business Management from Grand Canyon University and a diverse background in leadership, employee management, and customer service, I'm passionate about creating efficient and effective solutions for the early childhood education community.

Prior to launching Cactus Club Subs, I honed my skills as a credentialing manager at a healthcare staffing company, where I mentored teams and ensured compliance. I also bring experience in talent acquisition and executive assistance, giving me a well-rounded understanding of organizational needs and customer expectations. My experience has taught me the importance of community building and providing exceptional service. I bring exceptional communication skills, unwavering attention to detail, and a natural ability to foster positive relationships to guide Cactus Club Subs.

My husband, Brent, and I live in Phoenix, AZ with our two young children. We enjoy traveling, cooking, spending time outside as a family, and serving in our church community.

The Heart Behind Cactus Club Subs

The idea behind Cactus Club Subs came from understanding the frustrations many childcare centers face. Having seen how staffing shortages can cause stress and disrupt daily routines, I wanted to create a dependable solution that helps centers focus on what they do best—caring for and educating young children.

Our goal is to be Arizona’s go-to source for qualified substitute teachers. We're all about building real, lasting relationships with the centers we work with and providing personalized, top-notch service. We want to make daily staffing easier, keep the care consistent, and support our substitute teachers’ growth—all while strengthening the early childhood education community.

Looking Ahead

At Cactus Club Subs, we’re constantly looking for ways to get better. We plan to grow our services, improve our training programs, and use technology to make things even smoother for our partner centers and substitutes. We’re also working more with Impact Early Ed to offer ongoing professional development opportunities.

Our biggest goal? To make sure every childcare center in Arizona has reliable, qualified subs when they need them—so they can keep thriving—and to give our substitutes the chance to truly make a difference in young lives.
