What is the application and onboarding process? How long does it take?We start with the hiring stage. To apply with Cactus Club, our teachers must have at least one year of experience working in a licensed childcare setting. You'll submit your application on our website. Once we receive your application, we'll review it to see if you are a good fit for our team. You'll complete a 30 minute video interview and if it looks like a good fit on both sides, you'll move forward with the profile completion stage. It's important to us that our teachers LOVE kids! So, that means we want you to be happy and excited to work with our partner centers. We complete an in-person onboarding training session with every single teacher before they start onsite at a childcare center or family's home. This ensures you are well equipped as a substitute teacher when you start your first shift. We want to get you working as quickly as possible while ensuring you are fully prepared and compliant with all requirements. The onboarding process can typically be completed within 1-2 weeks, pending completion of all necessary paperwork, background checks, and reference checks. This timeline is completely up to you and how quickly you submit your documentation. We follow all AZ licensing guidelines, so this means your file must be complete before you can start onsite at any childcare center. We'll guide you through each step and are always available to answer your questions!
